Peterson Park Project
The Peterson Park Project was identified in 2020 as a top project identified within the Garfield Township 5-year Park Plan submitted to the Township Board in 2017.
The project identified the need to provide additional access to Crooked Lake either to off-lake families or visitors to the township. The project identified key needs that were included in a phase I project including a retrofitted beach area, a picnic shelter with picnic tables, handicap accessible porta john on a concrete pad and a re-engineered parking lot.
Approved Budget $20,000
Phase II of Peterson Park proposes to address a kayak launch / dock system.
